What time is the service?
Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:15 a.m. and ends at 11:45 a.m.
Where is your church?
Hesperia Evangelical Free Church is located at 7885 Arcadia Ave on the Mesa on the eastern end of Hesperia. We are on the corner of Arcadia Ave. and Fairburn Ave.
Do you have Sunday School?
No. We have suspended Sunday School for the Summer.
Is it ok if my kids sit with me during the service?
Absolutely! We do however have Children's Church for Pre-K through 1st grade. For those who wish to stay in the service.
Where are my kids during the service?
We all meet together for worship and the offering. Right before the message Pre-K thru 1st grade are dismissed for Children's Church.
Nursery (newborn-age 3) is through the kitchen - First door on the right.
Elementary (Pre-K/4 - 1st grade) meet for Children's Church down the hall just past the Restrooms.
If you have any questions or would like help finding your child’s area, greeters will be happy to give you the grand tour.
What about my teenagers?
Youth Group (Jr., Sr., & College age) meets every Wednesday night 6-8:30 p.m. in various homes.
What kind of music do you have?
Because we are a multi-generational church, we worship in many styles with a variety of accompaniments. Realizing that God is our "audiance" we seek to glorify Him through a joyful noise. Our service features a mix of traditional hymns, newer hymns, as well as contemporary praise music.
What should I wear?
The dress style in the High Desert is pretty casual and so are we. However, if you were raised in a more formal environment where people wore their “Sunday best,” you’ll also feel at home. In short, please wear whatever best facilitates a worshipful heart.
How many people attend Sonrise?
Each Sunday there are about 100 of us who meet togethere faithfully we are always glad to add to that number!
What is the teaching style?
Pastor Steve preaches through the Scriptures a verse at a time.
